Default rubbing with 18in wheels

has anyone expierinced any rubbing with 18" wheels and the factory recomended tire size. My car is lowered 30 mm with the M033 suspension, I just ordered 18 in wheels and I am wondering what to expect? The car is a 96 cabrio.

Whether your tires will rub or not will depend not only on how much your car is lowered but more importantly on the offset of your wheels. My 98 cab is running 18x8.5/11 Gemballas with 225/285 SO2s. Car is lowered with RS/RSR suspension and rear fenders have been rolled...no rubbing even with the 11" rims. In fact, I think I can fit 295s in the rear and 245s in the front with no rubbing issues.

Get the correct offset and 225/285s will not be a problem.
