Sorry you folks have to delay, but if it makes you feel any better..the weather sucks EVERY January weekend here in Central New York.

Rudy's is great, I eat at the Waco location often when travelling to Austin through Waco. But of late, DFW has seen an influx of some truly fantastic BBQ joints.

Pecan Lodge, 1050 and Lockharts come to mind....

 

Yessir, just trying to think of a simple group friendly spot if anyone else is interested. I spend quite a bit of time in DFW and have a few local favorite $hitholes but I'd be embarrassed to admit I frequent them!

i'm sure Brian will chime in on this at some point, but my understanding is DMS is offering up the Fister exhaust this year and all proceeds are going to charity. afaik, there are no additional gift certificates from Darin. Brian can clarify anything i may have stated inaccurately.

Gents,

A significant number of us have responded (both on RL and to me personally) that they can't attend this Saturday because of prior commitments. I have just spoken to Dallas Motorsports and in an effort to get as many people as possible to attend, the date for Part II has now been moved to March 21.

Hopefully this will be far enough away on the calendar to avoid any conflicts like Spring Break so please save the date now. Also, the threat of wintry weather should be gone by then as well.

Dallas Motorsports and I apologize for any inconvenience but we just want to give as many people the opportunity to attend as possible. To make up for any emotional distress or pain and suffering this postponement has caused, in addition to giving away some Fisters and providing breakfast stuff, DMS is also going to cater in BBQ for everyone. Many thanks to DMS for their generosity!!!!
