I think it's the highest self-submitted sale price we've seen on RL. It's possible that TruSpeed has unloaded one for a few bucks more, but probably not at 30k+ miles.

TL;DR: probably the highest price ever (in the US) on a 30k+ mile NA 993.

Well that explains it. This car came with the fastest color combination (and therefore most valuable). I rest my case!

Default Not for flipping actually at least not for me...

I've owned my C2S for 10 years now and before that I had a black on black C2s but with the horrible tiptronic tranny….I couldn't give it away back in the day until Rob from TrueSpeed showed up and bought it. Will I ever sell my 993…nope never! But for my friend it was a true " flip " bought it, parked it and sold it.

After passing on all 996 models ( never liked any of them ) until late 2005 when I saw the 997 launch edition I had to have it so I bought it and then I needed the proper stable mate…..so I had to find the perfect C2S again and I did IMO. Love the polar with flamenco, honestly never seen another one like mine other then the one my friend recently sold. I was told my C2S was originally ordered by Jerry Seinfeld but I don't know of that being a fact.

That interior looks a kinda lipsticky to me. Is Flamenco red darker than Boxster red ? Maybe just the way the light was when the photo was taken.

Flamenco is a bit darker. Boxster red is a bit more orange in color. Cancan is really bold, bright red.

Default Interior color

I thought it was the other way around…Flamenco has the tint of orange & the boxter was darker. In any case my color is exactly as the one posted above…I could have sworn the window sticker said Flamenco…I will check with the new owner.

I test drove a polar and flamenco years ago before I bought my black metallic/ black. It was stunning, but I didn't think it could live with it every day or long term. I do believe one of the launch vehicles came in that flavor in my German language launch promo book.

No worries. My car before this was a 986 Boxster in Arctic Silver and Boxster Red so I'm pretty familiar with both red interiors. I prefer the Flamenco Red personally. The carpeting that came with the Boxster Red interior looked more salmon than red and it always bugged me a little.
