Couldn't help but notice on another thread just how many of us 993 owners also have either Duke's or BMW motorcycles.

Wonder what that says ?

That we have too many toys? IMO the mechanical noise of a 993 comes second only to that of an air-cooled desmo Duck motor!

btw, two SPS's?!!?

The one is in London ( and has been subject to an 853cc conversion), the other in Istanbul.......well that's my excuse !

Contemplating riding from Istanbul to London on the 748 because that seems like a totally insane thing to do ( the journey is just too easy by 993c or BMW )

That's a good excuse and similar to the one I use...I keep one 993 in LA and the other in Hong Kong.

I doubt that your back and your nuts will appreciate that trip!
