I've driven Varioram cars. You can feel a difference at low and mid revs -- Varioram is a bit torquier. The difference is there, but its fairly small, IMO. All out performance is no different, however -- the '95s are every bit as quick as the '96+ cars. This is not just my opinion, but is based on several magazines' road test performance figures.
