I AM THINKING SLAVE But there are many Experts here with more experience than I. My Point

i recently bled the slave - let fluid get too low - Peddle went to the Floor.
I had No peddle whatsoever.

Had to manually Lift Peddle

Used Power Bleeder to Gradually suck fluid from the Reservoir to Slave and this Restored Peddle to Normal. FYI

Gotcha. All my parts were new as of last winter so hopefully that's not the case. Would I still feel pedal pressure? I mean it feels as everything is normal when I press the clutch. Thanks

My slave was replaced in May which is why I was ruling that out.

I have SOME clutch pedal but it's not firm from the get go. After this happened I could put the car in gear and start it with clutch in and the car would creep about a 1/2foot then stop. After the new master if I do the same thing the car wants to keep going.

when mine went the bushes cracked then fell apart, sometimes it sort of worked sometimes a partial return and sometimes not at all, it just depended on the random leverage that could be used, the cocked arm damaged the t/o bearing. I replaced all parts associated w/ clutch operation, from master/slave to the hose and mechanical parts, not cheap!!

Yeah I wouldn't be happy if I got a year out of those parts. I wonder if I get my hand in there if I could feel any play in the fork? I guess I'll try and bleed it one more time before I pull the drivetrain.

I AM THINKIN SLAVE IS gONE as in FAILED

My scenario is when I pushed down, to the Point of Engagement -I felt like I had a Clutch.

I was on a Lift - Car Not running - did not want to start it.

Clutch Pedal Immediately went to the Floor - It almost Thumped when it hit the floor - after what I think is the Engagement Point.

This is the Point I am Making. My experiences.
I had to relift peddle with my Toe.

Once I got fluid back into the Slave using Power Bleeder sucking fluid backward - all was restored.
Of course that is after a bleed.

i see Bill is onto this I am Off. Good Luck!
