has anyone installed the GT3 seats in a 993?

I tried today but was unable to get them to fit, using the slide hardware which was suppose to adapt them to a 993. Prt Number: 928... have to go look for the rest..

Any suggestions of guidance?

If these are the GT3 seats for the 993, then they will come with the correct rails (already installed on the seats) and bolt straight in.

The factory GT3 seats in leather sold to fit in a 993 has the following part numbers:

L: 993.521.901.01.xxx
R: 993.521.902.01.xxx

There would be no need to buy separate brackets.

I bought the seats set up for the 996/986 and then the adaptor hardware to put into a 993. I did this so I can use them in either the 993 or the Boxster, and one day when I trade for a 996 Turbo, place the in there.

They are for summer and track uss and the heated original seats will go back in for winter.

Talk to 993RS - he had one in his 993. He just took it out.
