Default Spare Cans for 993---I have found a pair…Thanks

Fellow Members:

After meeting with several 993 members for Cars and Coffee I have decided to go with Fister. Talked to Darrin this morning. Does anyone have a set of Gillet cans that you would be willing to part with. Looking for a nice very clean set.

Ralph

Ralph,

Fun taking turns with you pulling each other down the slippery slope! Your screaming yellow C2S looks better every time I see it. I know you will be happy with the Fisters and the service from Darin and the crew at FB. Whether you go with the III's or the II's, they'll make the car sound the way it should!

All the best!

Jim

Jim, help me find a pair of Gillet cans…………so I can get moving on this. Darin doesn't have any on hand so it might be a while. I continue to check Ebay and other sites. I see several Bishof but not Gillet's

Why not just do Bischoff and buy a set of donuts for $50 on EBay.

That's what I decided to do. Didn't want to wait for Gillets and a nice set of Bischoffs came up a couple weeks back.

Anyone have a link to said donuts?

For those looking for spare cans, Oklahoma Foreign had a stack of mufflers laying in their yard last time i was down there and there were numerous sets of 993's in there. I debated offering him x amount for the lot, but the truck was already full of boxster parts and I was out of cash, lol.

THANKS to all who responded. I found a excellent set of Gillet's from a Rennlister. They are on their way to Darin for him to do his magic. I finally settled on Fister II.

I believe this is what you are looking for Martin. You might want to do a WTB thread or ask Darin if he has these in stock.

It is part of my fault. I owe Darin a set of Gillet. I will get mine packed ASAP so that he has a set for your build.
