Post painting wheels

I was thinking of painting my track wheels (which are stock c4s wheels) black. I have a polar silver body and I'm thinking black wheels will look nice. Any body have a pic of stock C4s/TT wheels painted black on their car? TIA

Perhaps you should consider powder coating over paint. Al Reed at Specialty Polishing in Anaheim, CA does a great job. Once he powder coats the wheels, he clear coats them...henceforth, 0 maintenance.

I agree w/ Martin's comment. Last winter I removed the old paint on my track wheels and tried polishing them myself. I then clear-coated them with wheel paint. Right now they badly need a redo. "Shadetree Mechanic" regular spray-on paint (even if supposedly designed for wheels) does not hold up.

I think that is a good idea. Thanks guys. Any idea on what it costs per wheel? Also, does anyone have a picture of what stock black wheels look like on a silver 993 S or TT?
