Default Trolling the other forums......

My head hurts. Appreciate what we have here, even if we do have a few too many "What's It Worth" threads.

(Note I'm just talking about the model specific forums, OT and places like Racing/DE aren't part of my headache.)

Oh come on Ken, IMS threads are fun! Then there's about a dozen different threads on the next 991.......all with the same info. And I'm waiting for yet another "991GT3 production ending" thread (it ain't rocket science, GT3s have ALWAYS had short production runs). I do find the 964 forum quite similar to here (surprise!) and I enjoy seeing Mooty post in various places......always good for a laugh!

Oh no, not intermediate shaft stuff. Mainly what caught my eye was some "performance" driving/equipment advise. Or lack of.........

And, guess I should have critiqued it as trolling the WATER COOLED forums, but the old torsion bar 911 forum gets me riled up, too.

996 Turbo forums are more like mustang/camaro/e55/c63 forums from my experience.

How can I spend $xx,xxx to get 9,000,000 horsepower in order to go to and from the local burger joint, while making the car worth $x,xxx and have it be impossible to sell.

You should have seen how I fiddled with the pedals on my Scirocco when I was 16, back in '78. Couldn't wait to get all the book reading theory into practice.

Well, this would have been the 930 Forum circa mid '80s. Instead, it was nearly every guy who bought either a new back-in-the-US market '86 or (more likely) a POS gray market car. First thing they wanted was a boost **** and a different exhaust. Maybe a short ring & pinion. Thankfully there was no internet, so you could talk them down from the edge.
