Default HELP Trying to diagnose DM Flywheel problem

Dear Rennlisters,
I have a Durametric reader/software and in light of the below comment I found in an old Rennlist posting;:
"The litmus test for the failing DMF is to use the PSTII (Porsche tool), put the car in the air and with the car in gear, read the speed sensor directly. I'm told that it will rapidly slow and speed up out of sync with the engine RPM."
I was thinking that there may be a real time metric I could read in the Durametric system to identify a bad dual Mass Flywheel. Mabe some erratic data that is tell-tail for this issue.

Something like the "Ignition timing" or "Reference mark signal" or some other data element or comparison of elements I can record for a period of time and evaluate in Excel.

Can any of our members help me out here with a reply?
Andy

When I bought my car we went through this but there was no definitive test. Just speculation.
