Hi, I have been sitting back following the various discussion on this site picking up tips on the 993. Since I do not currently own a 993 I have not been able to contribute.
I have been searching and just recently came across a 1996 SP 993 and was wondering if any Rennlister checked out this car or has any history on it? If not is there anybody able to provide a RennFax on it or tips on pricing on this car.
I bought a similarly optioned 993 six weeks ago with 57,000mi., one minor accident, M033, Koni FSD, clear corners, bumperette delete and HID lights for $45,000 Canadian. The accident took some value off, but $53K USD seems somewhat high.
Originally thought the car is in Arizona, but yes the car is in Arkansas (not France!). Can anyone suggest a place for a PPI in or around Springdale?
The yellow headlights "... have yellow film just as a protection that can be easily removed they just peel off they are from Headlight Armor." Wondering if it is legal in California.
It's a two owner car, supposedly with most of the service records accounted for. Dealer says some paint chips and small stone nick in glass, no steering rack leaks, and not SAI faults noted. But I like a 2nd opinion/PPI.
