View out of the yard just now:

I suppose I'd need the footwell lights, if I ever drove my car...

Did the C4S/TT come standard with the rear wiper? Mine doesn't have one but I don't see 426 (cited by the OP as the option code for "rear wiper delete") on my options sticker under the hood.

I don't think so. I think only the TT came standard with the rear wiper. The other 993TT's that I have/ had have all had it but the 2 C2S's did not. Maybe they thought that the TT rear deckled created some kind of disturbence in the wet?

Here are the photos of the footwell lighting but has anyone ever seen the light in the headliner? It looked like an add-on but I explored a little bit and I believe its OG. Does anyone feel like looking up the part number for the passenger side footwell light? Mine has a small burn mark in the lens (I presume the door was open for an extended period of time).

The light in the headliner is option M520 "interior monitoring." It will sense motion inside the cabin and trigger the alarm.

Not sure on the passenger light part number.

I'm really not sure how rare it is. I've only seen it in my car up to this point, but I don't exactly come across too many 993s.

Glad to see you still have the "check owner's manual" sticker on the light as well!

Black calipers are more obvious in the first photo:

I haven't seen a center console that looks like that. Was that part of the option package or something aftermarket?

Who's? Mine? It's lovingly referred to as the "bat phone" around here and admittedly has pretty much no use as the Motorola phone that was used in mine (they had other brands available as well) went to the bin long ago. As with pretty much all unusual options, there isn't any data to verify how many were produced but there couldn't have been many. It has been suggested to me to update it with a docking station for my current phone but I honestly don't drive it enough to need something like that. Interesting discovery recently though when I pulled the OBD2 plug cover, it appears that the bat phone consoles were constructed of fiber glass then wrapped in leather.

I would love to know if anyone on the board has the mobile fax machine, now THAT has got to be a rare option.
