Good to clarify that you're running a PR campaign on behalf of a guy who's swindled numerous people out of pure self-interest.
Again, Just stating my experience. It is only fair to report the good and the bad when a thread is questioning what happened to a Rennlister with so many posts.
Have had six transactions this year with him and all of them were good.
I have had worse experiences with sponsered vendors here on rennlist in all honesty...

The thread isn't "questioning what happened," as if this guy's record is somehow in doubt. The thread is exposing someone's record of serial dishonest conduct.
When someone breaks the law, it's not a defense at trial to recount all the times that person didn't break the law. But your honor, he visited convenience stores dozens of times without holding any of them up at gunpoint!

Keep digging, though.
Ah, actually, yes. This thread starting with OP wondering why there was a ban.... The OP never started a thread to expose someone's record....
Well,
You can add me to the list of "terrible experience" with mr. lopro. I sold him a set of JRZ dual adjustable coilovers and he tried to scam me by saying that one banjo bolt that holds the line for the remote canister was loose causing it to leak all over the outside of the box. Well, I triple bubble wrapped the coilovers and there was no way anything came loose in transit and checked them completly before shipping. It was pretty obious to me and fede ex, that he spilled motor oil all over the box to try to get me to rebuild a perfectly good set of JRZ's for him. This was after I lowered my price to "help him on his project" and paid for shipping.
Then the fun really started, by his phone calls and inmature emails...
Good luck to everyone elese that decides to deal with this individual....
Ed with all due respect I find this a bit over the top. Calling another longstanding member's experience insignificant and questioning their motives is a step too far in my opinion. It's his opinion and he is entitled to it. No need to be insulting.
Again, no disrespect intended.
As Josh noted, I did mean to imply statistically insignificant. Maybe I was harsh, I apologize if so. I really was questioning the two positive posts made in the banned thread. I've seen what he's done to others at significant $ cost. I've seen doc's saga. It's disgusting.
MotorMeister probably has a couple of satisfied customers too.

on the MotorMeister comment.
It's very apparent that "Lopro" had more than just a few unsatisfactory transactions with members here and elsewhere and for that he's thankfully been banned.
I think he may have some stuff going on in his life. I inquired about some of his parts and it appeared to me I was stressing him out. So I just moved on.

Ok, I think my original question has been thoroughly answered, thanks everyone. I didn't mean to stir up inter-member strife and conflict, sorry I brought it up in the first place.
Also sorry to hear that a number of Lopro's customers weren't happy with the transaction and/or follow up. This seemed quite out of character based on many of his previous posts which struck me as being generally helpful and collegial in tone.
I suspect vincer77 may be on to something, ie Lopro may have stuff going on in his life. It happens, and if this is the case I hope things turn around for the better for him.
Not meant to excuse any questionable transactions, but piling on won't help matters either way, nor will sniping at each other. As a wise man once said, "can't we all just get along?"
I think perhaps it's a good time to close this thread.
