Your advice on value?? Taking serious offers...
I'm looking to get the rennlist opinion on what the value of my car may be??
It is a 1998 C2S 83,xxx miles artic silver/black interior. Two previous owners. Options include motorsound package, full power driver and passenger seats, 18" turbo twist wheels. H&R springs with Bilstein HDs and fister stage II exhaust. No issues with car except for light wear on driver side bolster. Few front hood paint chips. Wheels have some slight scratches (no curb rash). No top end done and no SAI/CEL issues. Everything works as it should if it didnt work it was repaired/ replaced. Past maintenance/repair items include:
Engine/transmission
Clutch replacement 3/2010 72,000 miles
Oil change with replacement of both oil filters 1/15/2011
Replace distributor cap and rotor-10/21/10

Change distributor belt 11/18/2010
Change transmission fluid-10/14/10
Replace SAI valve 7/21/2011
Replace head gasket-driver lower and upper 11-13/10
Fister exhaust stage 2 8/12/10
A/C and front oil cooler Ballast resistor*7/15/10
New optima red top battery 2/15/2011
Timing Chain Gasket Grommets (stopped a minor drip) 3/13/13
New optima red top battery 9/29/13
Suspension

Bilsten HDs 3/20/13
Wheel alignment and corner balance 3/20/13
Interior
repair driver threshold trim 8/15/2010
Replace speakers-11/8/10-front- JL Audio 6.5 inch speaker
Rear Polk audio 4x6 inch speaker
Replace light for headlight switch
Climate control unit-unit cleaned 11/13/10
4 Lloyds Floor mats from fd motorsports
Remove clutch starter switch 9/5/10
Replace key fob
replace Driver door seal 8/20/10
replace driver seat hinge cover 11/8/10
Odometer repair (gear replacement no mileage not accounted for) 7/9/14
Exterior
Repaint front bumper and remove bumperettes 8/10/10
Replace rear stone guards (fd motorsports) 2/21/2011
Spoiler gear drive bearing replacement 11/6/10

Replace rear emblem 11-8/10

New rear tires @ 83,614 on 05/17/14
When I purchased the car the PPI revealed paint meter results indicative of a front respray, new A-arms and a non-factory battery. The only work noted was the whatever material is in the wheel wells (sorry I don't know the term) looked different on the front/driver side than all the others indicating potential work had been done. No body work was identified underneath the car or from above. I almost sold the car before but didn't because I didn't know the details of what may have happened. The car was purchased from a current Rennlister and they did not disclose any information. The car aligns perfectly, tracks perfectly and brakes perfectly.
Only reason I'm selling is because I'm deployed, again...and am not using the car ...and... would like to pay cash for a house when I return. I WILL find another 993 again The car is kept with a fellow squadron mate and can be viewed/driven in southern GA.
Thoughts on a ball park asking price? Internet seems high...high 40's to mid 50's. This car is pretty darn clean both inside and out but with not knowing the full details of the left front wheel well I'm not comfortable asking for a premium.
Just an honest military member trying to do my part to dissuade ISIS and sell a solid, above average 993.
Asking price: $70k...obo...for now
Thanks all,
Hawgdriver

Yup internet is high- I will give you 20 grand I am no expert but I have a c4s in very good condition and have been offered more than what you're seeing .... It's a sellers market. I'd start our in the low 50's unless you want to take my offer and be done with it

Guys are going to start ragging on you to list a price, this is not Ebay, an auction site, etc, etc. Honestly, in that condition, with 993 widebodies as hot and desireable as they are at the moment, and being the last year of production, I'd start at 70k and go from there. GLWS
