I'm pretty sure I saw that car listed for sale on the local Craigslist for a bit. The newer style bumpers just looked wrong. Way to sort this one out and turn it into a real looker. Enjoy the slipper slope with this one.
Converted to long wheelbase? I should have on my '68, but wasn't sophisticated enough when I was 19. Did work fine for nearly a decade of track rat duty, though.
I want to agree with this bit of rationalization but i don't really buy it! You're among addicts here so let's be honest... Red wasn't your color and you liked the grays sooo... you chose to paint it gray, because you liked it! Ok all better now.
Wow, that looks fantastic after you made the Mods and took the Miami vice stuff out... funny how little changes like the chrome, bumper and color make such a huge difference.. congrats and enjoy in good health.
Rudy - nice to hear from you! Hope my C4S is treating you well? Yes - moved to another house on the same chain of lakes / Huron River system - 15 minutes from DTAA. It's a great house with room for an additional 40x30 garage.... Looking forward to building it over the winter.
The C4S is doing great! Love that car. Have done a few small things here or there to it but nothing major and it has been running perfectly. Jealous about your new garage space - that's the one thing I'm missing! Congrats again.
