Clutch Peddle Sticking
The other day I noticed my clutch peddle was sticking. It works fine, but occasionally it does not fully return to after pressing it.
Any ideas what is going wrong?
thanks,
Joe

I had my pedal box removed and everything was cleaned, the bushings were replaced as well as the return spring and system bleed. Everything works flawlessly now.

some might argue that its from lack of use and or the slave needs to be replaced rebleed
many others might recommend a kinematic lever change and or cleaning of the pedal box assembly.
Ive ran into this also last summer.
replacement kinematic lever updated version pn: 993.423.519.03 selling in Canada for 102.99cad. might be less in the US I don't know.

my 95 does it on and off as well. Just not enough to really get me motivated to dig into it, but sooner or later i'll have to get to it.

I'd try doing a fluid change/bleed first before digging into the K lever and the clutch master behind the pedals. You'll be surprised how dirty the fluid is in that part of the system. My pedal used to stick, but after I changed out my clutch and fluids it completely went away. I inspected my master cylinder boot behind the pedal but everything looked nice and fresh so I didn't bother tearing into it.

A quick check would be to remove the floor board and lightly lube the pedal cluster at the pivot points. If it goes away after the lubrication, then its probably not the master or slave cylinder and you can focus on the pedal cluster.
