Per Nile, whatever choice is made, better units exist than OEM.
I referenced Goodyear above, not realizing it's 120v. The unit I have is the one below, is terrific, and is 12v.

There are a couple of pretty simple rules when choosing a good compressor. If the one you are looking for doesn't list specific CFM (or, as some of them do, inches per minute), stay away from it altogether. If the listing is for less than 1 CFM, stay away as well.
The two I've listed, while very inexpensive, are excellent compressors/inflators proven to run for year without being loud, overheating and they are very fast compared to others. Since I inflate my tires ate lest 7-8 times per weekend, often more, depending on weather, it's important.

I already have a better portable compressor. My car is all original and I may show it at some time and just wanted to know the oem location for all tools and compressor so i could position them correctly. Would love to have a picture of how it was when new!! Thanks for the info
