Default remove oil cap = no change in idle

It seems that i may have a vacuum leak on my 993 cab. When I remove the oil cap I do not get any change in idle. Where should I start looking for a vacuum leak? any thoughts How significant is this?

Thanks

I know on my older Porsche I would get a change in idle when I took off the oil cap. I do not get this with a 993 - You might want to try the 996 board. Good Luck

I am talking on my 96 993 cab, I FEEL SO BAD about that specific typo. I have heard others say they do have a change when they remove their oil caps. Like the pre 3.6 cars.

If I get no change in idle after my oil cap is removed, does this mean I have a vacuum leak?

I just topped up last night, and I noticed no change in idle speed on my '89 C4 when I removed or replaced the oil fill cap.
