So, this on display at local Porsche Dealer. A Porsche Design Center, 2013, one off cab, with a ducktail no less. Thought you might enjoy the option list.
Cheers!

$181K for a 911? Are they nucking futs? Don't get me wrong I'm all for personalization and making a car unique but theses option prices are just plain stupid. And all this option ticking and no X51 PowerKit? Jeez.....

I saw a $90K V6 Cayenne a few months back. Someone ordered it and then backed out when it arrived. The biggest issue is that the vehicle will never be valued any higher than a base one. Its just the way the used car market sees things. The 997 TTS that I owned for almost 2 years lost 40% of its sticker value when I went to sell it. it had some really cool options but no one was going to pay any more for it because it had leather wrapped column covers!

You can always purchase a Carrera S and customize it your self for a fraction of the stealer cost. What a rip! But there's a sucker born every day that will buy it, the trust fund babies have no sense of logic when it comes to wise spending.

And keep in mind I'm sure a good portion of these purchases are really working off monthly lease costs, so when you buy with that rationale, option it right for some.
