Default Interesting solution to Euro turn signals

Saw this today at Porsche day at RTC. From what it looks like, it's not an official part, but seem to look pretty well made. Anyone knows what this is?

Looks like Euro lense with "reduced" (altered, sawed, hacked) bumperette.

For me, the remaining bit of bumperette is the part I dislike the most. The 964 had bumperettes similar to the 993 that split the corner and fog lights but did not intrude into the bumper area. Those seem to "work" better IMO.

Euge, thanks for the nice pic! Yes I hacked the bumperettes, just not ready yet to remove the bumper and fill the holes.

See more pics from the Porsche day at RTC here:

Come on guys this is temporary, at least it's not duct tape like others have done on here!
I still have the original unhacked bumperettes so it's easily reversible, besides the ones I hacked were fleebay specials paid $20 shipping included. No harm no foul.

Can't you just remove the bumperette all together?

Don't get why these are needed and what they actually do for crash safety?

On a recent trip to the US I was passed on a freeway by massive pick up truck that had 6" spikes for wheel nuts on all wheels!!!

They just looked nasty and would cause massive damage to anyone or anything that had the misfortune to get close!

It seems to be a contradiction that a bumpertte is required and yet you could put 5 x 6" spikes on each wheel??

Could someone from the US enlighten me??

It's not rational.
