So I know it is the same person because of this email he sent me in reply to my sending him a question on the ebay link.

So this confirms that it is absolutely the same person as above!

Subject: Re: 993 exhaust tips

hi,
the Gemballa tips looks just same as the oem chrome tips(the big oval one,
which cost $ 1000 cdn as an option) with 2 badges on the bottom of it, which
is invisible after installed.
about the tips sticking out,,,,, it depends on how you install it, no
tricky, just find a good mech to install it for you who will spend some time
to align it for you, it won't stick out.
here is my offer.

i am looking for $ 1100 cdn for the whole set(with muffler and tips) which is aprx. $ 800 us. if you want only the tips, i am willing to do $ 300 us, but if you can take the whoe set i will ship it to you for $ 700 us (shipping included) trust me, you are gonna love the exhaust kit, it sounds amazing and even
adds "looks" to the car.
you won't regret to have a Gemballa exhaust kit installed. it's 200x better
then oem.

thank you

joe

also note the eBay ad is advertised as a "PORSCHE 911/993 STAINLESS EXHAUST SYSTEM"...now if it were me who was selling it I would have "Gemballa exhaust" plastered all over my listing and I certainy would also have the retail price listed. But if the exhaust was not a genuine Gemballa then describing it as such on eBay would constitute fraud wouldn't it?

Good catch Jim Bob <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

There is no way the photos on ebay are the same as the photos on yahoo - looks like 2 different mufflers to me. Also, no mention on ebay about a them being for a c4s - the tips don't look like they have the widebody offset. These 2 items along with the identity thang, well, that's 3 RED FLAGS!! Of course I could be wrong - It is sad that for some, an 83% approval with 4 or 5 transactions is good - make that 4 RED FLAGS!!

...esp when in his initial post he says he was using the stock OEM tips on his C4S...but two posts later in response to a question as to why there are scratches on the bottom of the Gemballa tips he says "the bottom is a bit scratched, cause my car was lowered." uh, rights...I thought you were using the OEM tips

hey everyone,
first of all, again, i don't know who the heck Pierre is. second, i just want to sell my Gemballa exhaust kit.

BORIS TEKSLER
the ebay link you have is not me. i am not the one with the shinny 993 exhaust.
i have a set of Gemballa exhaust kit used around 15000km. they are not shinny looking at all.
the one i have is the Gemballa ones, not the 993 ones you linked to ebay. also, why don't you post the email you received from the person on ebay and let's see what his email address is.
also, compare the photos with the ebay one and the one i have in yahoo folder....

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK I AM PIERRE

how about having someone in toronto come up to me (whom you all trust) and take a look at the exhaust kit i have. make sure that i am not pierre and help me selling this exhaust kit.

if i am pierre, i would not use the same or similar user's profile.
there is no way i am gonna change my email address. i have been using this email address for a long time.
i don't have much more to say on this issue.
i am not pierre,
i understand why you all are doing this. yes, people should keep internet a safer place.

i will contact Viken and hopefully he can give me my name back and make sure that i am clean.

Joe,

I appologize if this is all a mistake - but i must admit things just DON'T ADD UP. I think I found you through the ebay link above. It is possible that when I double-clicked on the person to send a question - you responded and I associated you with the ad. I can't find an email trail to go either way so I'm sending an email to the ebay lister and ask him the same question. But I AM NOT POSITIVE that BigJoe is the same person as the ebay lister.

I just want to be fair in any assertions I make.
Cheers,
Boris

boris,
do you mind try it again?? please.
course that is not my ebay id, therefore it is impossible for me to answer you through that link.
please please do try again and make sure that there is no mistake.
you couldn't possible find me through the ebay link.
now please do make sure and clearify this issue otherwise this will be a lot of trouble for me.
please do spent some of you time.....

thank you

bigjoe,

it is possible that my wires are crossed on the ebay link and other correspondence that I had with you via this board. So with that said I can't be sure and can't assert anything. I DO NOT WANT to falsely make any accusations - so let's just chaulk this one up to not sure.

cheers,
boris

To all,

User "bigjoe" contacted me and I have checked all info regarding him and his posting profile. At this point, I have no evidence indicating that him and Pierre are one in the same.

As always, buyer beware, but bigjoe does not *appear* to be Pierre.

Did you or did you not use the Gemballa tips on your car? And if not, then why are there scratches?

And if you are in such a hurry to sell them b/c of your impending move, why aren't you selling them on eBay?!?

I can't help being skeptical...something here doesn't make sense. btw - which part of Hong Kong are you moving to?

hi David. and everyone else.
again, i am not Pierre. have you seen Viken's message??
ok, to clear your question.
i was using the stock ones because the set was for narrow body.
the bottom of the tips have been scartched because a friend of mine borrowed it from me, since i have no use of it.... and he gave me two used front tires....
my car was lowered with spring only.
the friend who borrowed the tips from me was using a h&r street coil over set.
anyway, i don't know what you guys are after, but i am not Pierre, and i am just here trying to sell my exhaust.

WTF!!! $750 CAD for a used set of Gemballa exhaust is cheap!!! I would take it right away if I still have my 993... I just dun understand why U guies were giving bigjoe a hard time selling his exhaust??? Moreover, Viken has already proven bigjoe not = Pierre, so why not shut the hell up if U're not interest and the let the serious buyer do the judge?!?!?!?!?!?!
