Default 993 Cat

Can anyone confirm if the European Cat for the 993 is different to the US one? I'm thinking it probably is. I need one for my Euro '96 C4S and there is a used US one on eBay which looks tempting. I was quoted €1,200 from Gert for a new one, a used one looks like a good option.

My current one is bent due to accident damage - it's out of line and therefore the mufflers and tips are also out of line. The OPC doens't think it can be fixed and will need replacement.

Thumbs down

From my parts list, they're different. Don't know what the differences are.

The difference is the O2 sensors. US OBD2 has 2 post cat o2 sensors as pictured here

The euros are OBD1 and only have the 1 sensor as pictured here

Thanks guys. I'll check with the parts dealers in the UK and see if I can source a used one there.

As I said, the part nos. are different. This is for US vs. Euro 1995 year cars. There is also a difference between US 1995 and later cars.
