Type in "drilling and airbox" when using search; a bunch came up for me.

Take the airbox cover off... look at it.. it has round marks on it.... Drill them ! There is a website with a template (can't find it anymore), but really it's no biggie. Just make sure you clean up the shavings well !

Also, it's not a huge difference....

Take the airbox cover off and leave it off. Get some half inch socket holders at Sears to hold the filter in and you are good to go! Be sure to cover the tube for the clutch dust discharge with foam as well. I forget who originally had this idea, but I like it! Also get the red KN filter for a cool look

PS. Not all of them have the hole marks. My original has nothing, the one I bought on Ebay to drill ($20) has a rectangular mark around where the holes will go, but others have said they have actual circles they drill through. No luck here

Just buy a hole saw about one inch diameter and drill out about six holes in the air box cover. File down the rough edges and remove any left over debris.
Re-install it in the car.

The hole marks are on the inside of the cover.

BTW, I have a couple of extra ones if anybody wants to buy! I did the same thing as JPS and bought a spare on ebay. I also got an extra one when I got the exhaust tips from ebay. Those tips are for another project to ceramic coat the tips. I will post progress on those soon.

I drilled my original and absolutely love it. I did a DE (Proformance Race School at Pacific Raceways near Seattle) and it was real nice to hear the Varioram kick in as I passed the Corvette in my group!!!

I will post the DE soon as well.
