Not sure about 18's, but my RE-11's in 17's are great.
I find their grip to come pretty damned close to that I had on Yoko R's before they cycled out, and MPSC's which I ran before them on my 84. I ended up running R's full time on that car for about 5 years-I got spoiled for grip!
