OT: Help Deciphering a CARFAX report?

OT: Help Deciphering a CARFAX report?
Well I got a carfax on a perspective 89 BMW 325i track car and I'm more confused than before. Can anyone help me with a couple of items. One why would no milage show on a 1989 vehicle before 6/13/95? Second, CARFAX says it estimates 2 owners but then shows 7 separte "Title Issued" hits. I thought that usually went along with a change of ownership?
Anybody shed some light on this info?

Although I don't know the specifics of this car, I do know that title changes can occur as liens are assigned and released, or as the original owner moves from state to state.
In the case of my 993, for example, it was owned by an oil company executive who was transferred several times between Texas and Florida; each move resulted in a new title being issued, yet the car always had the same owner. Hope this helps.
