SoCal Gimmick Rally Invite - May 3, 2014
Looking for an event to drive your 993 around Los Angeles? Realizing that you missed the last rally in November and don't want to miss another one?
The San Gabriel Valley Porsche Club of America is organizing a fun gimmick rally on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Registration is open now, but don't delay! The gimmick rally will be a photo/trivia rally with locations around Los Angeles that are somehow related to automobiles, aviation or aerospace. No particular knowledge will be required and this will not be a competitive rally with stopwatches and odometers. Locations will be up to the participants, so you won't have to go to locations you deem unsuitable.
There is no need to be a PCA member or become otherwise involved in PCA events. The hosting club is a Porsche club, but entry is open to all.
There is lots of info on the blog set up just for the event - http://rallya3.wordpress.com. You can also download a pdf flyer and registration form on the website. Feel free to share both liberally.
Happy to answer any questions or provide any other info at any time. We did this event in November and had a lot of fun. We ended up with just under 40 cars - many Porsches, but also some Vipers, MBZ, BMW, Miata, VW, etc.
Yes, this invite is going to be cross posted in other places, so apologies for the duplication if you've already seen elsewhere.
Thanks,
Kevin
