Default Rear wiper switch

Is the rear wiper switch just momentary or does it click on the wiper and then click off on next push? It springs back when pressed and doesn't stay in one position or another. Sorry, never had a rear wiper.
Thanks

It is 'momentary' as you put it.

The factory relay makes it sweep three times. A type 53 IIRC from VAG makes it sweep just the once, which is much better.

I'm interested in the single wipe relay. Where do you find VAG? Thanks

Apologies I should have been clearer - Volkswagen Audi Group supply them. But any type 53 relay substitutes directly into the connector which is under the rear parcel shelf - just four-screws to undo.

Thanks for your help. I've got some exploring to do to find it.
