Anyone know how to remove the door handle and separate the pocket LID (not the pocket itself) from the door card?
The hinge mechanism it is attached to is riveted to the door card, and the metal hinge is tacked in place with some kind of pressed-on fastener. Neither is budging. Any ideas?

i was able to get the forward pin out of the hand grip with a little gentle prying. The riveted thing, you may need to drill out.
why do you want to remove it completely?

Quad,
Not sure if you were going to recommend this but when they are sagging I've able to bend them back. There must be some metal reinforcing the lid that is pliable, thought I would mention for future reference.

You have drill out the rivet if you need to replace door pocket self closing mechanism. If the spring or the metal hook is broken it is possible to purchase that fitting (around $ 40) carefully take it to pieces and replace your broken broken little metal hook and return spring. This will save you drilling out the rivet and having replace it which is a pain. Hope this solves part of your problem
