I saw that they were coming out with that...will be interesting to see if they publish ZDDP levels and how much it costs.

VERY interesting. Wonder what the weight recommendation for our cars will be - still their current official 0W40 recommendation?

UPDATE: press release on Porsche website says 20W50 and 10W60 will be available in Porsche dealerships around the world in April. Based on the design of the cans it looks like 10W60 for the 993.

10w60 For the 993's I am sure this is going to be the topic of discussion for a while.....

Would love to know who is making this stuff for Porsche.

Id love a couple of those containers in my shop. They would go great with a Porsche shop light and wall art.

This is a very smart move by them. There are a ton of hardons out there that will insist on nothing but Porsche branded oil. I bet you it will even start being included in forsale listings.

Just like "German Engineered" Volkswagens - made in Mexico.
