Speaking of RS....
I've got one stashed away in my in-laws barn
Anyone know what a car like this might be worth?

It's a shame because at these prices, the cars are less likely to be used as intended anymore.

I hope you aren't complaining So is a Cup car more expensive than RSCS?

H. I think that is comedy pricing considering there are almost twice as many cup/supercup made compared to genuine CS.

Perhaps complaining is a tad harsh, I would at least say "nostalgic" for when I used to be able to track the car to the best of my ability!

Just to put it in perspective a restored ex cargraphic 993 Cup failed to sell at a UK auction in the last few days without reaching half the $ asking price of the white car...as nice as it is!

I clearly haven't seen it, the car looks great in photos and may well be worth every penny or cent!

Did you notice that these cars both had air conditioning, stereo radio, electric windows and no cages and full interiors and were club sports.

Porsche should have built and sold them in the USA. The cars were no big deal and easily sold and serviced in the USA.

Crazy crazy money for a mildly warmed up 993
I guess the market is hot.
Some collector in Scottsdale paid $1,300,000 for a Porsche 1973 RS at the auctions.

That's Ferrari F40 money. The market speaks

Both cars are most definitely not Clubsport M003 variants.

They are both regular 993 RS M002 variants, fitted with the CS/RSR bodykit.

The bodykit was a factory option at the time, it cost the equivalent of $8500 back in'95.

They both show many features of the M002 as you would expect!

The M003 CS is different in many areas, visibly the fully welded matter cage is the first give away! as well as cloth seats. There are many more differences if you look closely at one.

A/c was an option on all the 993RS, my own factory original M003 was fitted with a/c from the factory as documented by the vehicle build sticker and service book.

Nope not clubsports, biplane wings and GT splitters do not make a RSCS. One of the 2 RS is from Japan they all had CS wings and splitters. I think this is why you call yours "RSCS" when it hasn't got welded cage.

Yes ridiculous money to be sure but Bob explained the reasoning behind this obviously steeped price
was that he doesn't choose to sell this one therefore the outlandish pricing!
It does have no carpet ,or headliner was raced sparingly in Europe and to say there are more Cups
than RS or RSCS is just stupid..
Oh and hey Jager we'll have to work that out , my RS Cup clone just like Bob's white one should be completed by Rennsport V Reunion in Monterey I'll buy the burgers! Bert

Porsche built many 993 RS Clubsports with no cages, A/C, stereo radio and electric windows.

I have seen these cars and been in them and sold headers and catbypass pipes and mufflers to several owners.

When I PCA club raced I built a RSCS clone and the scrutineers were misinformed and stated all RSCS cars were gutted caged stripped race cars. I supplied facts and data and all was ignored.

Great cars and thanks for posting pictures.

Sorry, but an RS without cage and with a/c, stereo, electric windows etc is the M002 model. M002 could also be optioned with CS spoilers and this was very common. CS spoilers don't make a CS.

Tim, Tim, Tim...wouldn't a simple "excuse me sir, but your fuc&ing technically incorrect" have made your opening remark more gentleman like?
