The long rod sticks through the large tubular wrench and acts as a handle. It's your 19mm lug wrench on one end and I believe a 17mm on the other.
I need the compressor- road side assistance is nice but I'd like to have the compressor - had to buy one for my last 911 too- they wear out

Looks like both you guys are missing the spark plug tool
There are 2 tool kits for the 993, early ones like the OP and suncoast ones, later ones are like the 2nd pic, more 996/Boxster like

Looks like you're missing a few like the open ended wrenches (I have five in mine)...maybe others too.
Email me at plohmeyer@woh.rr.com and I'll send you a pic of mine, a page from the parts catalogue showing what's there, and a place to fill out your tools. Kits produced the same year will have some variation in components.

I've been thinking about building out my tool kit. Not sure if it's easier to just buy a full used kit or try to replace the missing items. That being said a screw driver went for $50 the other day on ebay... Little ridiculous but I'm sure there are people out there trying to get their low mile queens back to 100% originality and willing to pay for it.

The one in my car, the original I believe, looks more like this one. These guys may be able to help too.

I got one of these kits for my bike last year. IIRC, it was about $160. Originally Posted by Kmassed002
