Interior color code
Guys
I need to remove my cassette holder from my 95 993 .
Preferrably I would need a cup holder.
Anyone knows or has experienced the best Cup holder?
Where to buy it from?
Then again where shall I find the interior color code if it is going to be leather covered?
Thanks
Georges

Georges,
The cassette holder can be replaced with a small tray that is handy for coins, cell phone, sunglasses, etc. I tried the cupholder installation where the cassette holder is and found it very awkward to access. Eyes off the road, spilled drinks, etc. Your Porsche dealer can look up the p/n of this tray. Make sure to order the little rubber pad that goes in the bottom. If they can't ID these parts, let me know and I can look up my records at home.
As far as the cup-holder, the best place to mount it is on the passenger side of the shifter tunnel. I bought a very nice flip-down one that mounts in this location from a company in Newport Beach Calif. It is covered in Classic Gray vinyl to match my interior. Again, I can look up the supplier at home if you'd like. Also, some of the guys here have used a VW part number that (I believe) is gray and mount in this location. Photos look very nice of this one. Try a search or do a post about this option.
If I can help. send me an email or, if it would be a help, I can send you a photo of my cupholder. It is nice to have on a trip.

Georges,
I checked at home and the supplier for the "single" drinkholder is at www.drinkholders.com. They will supply one covered in Classic Gray, same as mine. These cupholders are very good quality and look OEM. They are about $40.00, but well worth it.
The part number for the utility tray to replace the cassette holder is #964-552-159-00-IDB. You can buy this from drinkholders.com for about $10.00.
Good luck.

Georges,
You're welcome. Don't forget if you order the utility tray, ask for the rubber pad that goes in the bottom. They's know what you mean.

Thanks Joe, but I think the Interior Color Code is going to be a code similar to the following.
FK Midnight Blue
FS Cashmere Beige/Black
JB Nephrite Green
KH Chestnut Brown
LC Cashmere Beige/Black
LG Cashmere Beige/Black
LT Black
MB Boxster Red
TT Classic Grey
etc.......
On the under-trunk sticker it is next to the paint code in large writing. Example:
L92E TT
I need the code for Marble Grey. It's the lightest grey.
Thanks!
