Default Focal Tweeter Mod

just wanted to pass along a simple mod I did over the past weekend...

didn't want to screw any holes or cut into the door panels so I came up with this crude but easy method of installing the Focal tweeters for our cars...

you just take the stock tweeter housings off the door panel, punch out the speaker grill from the back...I used the handle of a screwdriver and just banged into it from behind....it'll pop off...

get some Gorilla glue and apply along the rim of the stock housing then place the Focal tweeter head on top...let dry and just snap this back into the door panel...

the stock tweeter housings cost $40 to replace each...and come with the Nokia speaker inside....in case anyone is thinking twice about this project...

I was worried about the glue not being strong enough to hold everything together but so far nothing has fallen off and they sound amazing!

Looks good. I was able to fit my focal tweeters in the stock housing with a little dremel work. Yes, the sound is much better than stock.
