I gotta say the FVD parts were the best composite parts i have ever held in my hand. He others were't bad either.
Hahn GFK is supplying the doors, cf rear bumper, roof etc. Like i said, they have made these parts for the EVOs that raced in the FIA GT series.
Juha, I'm planning on getting the same Hahn GFK kevlar roof skin, but since its going to be used for a street car without a rollcage, would the roof flex, or crack on the edges after bonding at the steel corners, using the same method, leaving 30mm of steel roof around the gutters.

I've welded my sunroof plate but I don't want the weight over my head anymore. I'd like a clean roof skin before applying the headliner, the idea is getting the same look and rigidity of a non-sunroof coupe.

Btw, can't say enough of your amazing work being done to your car! TIA!

How about 9M's method, though I couldn't get the part number for it,

The original roof is also mostly a skin but of course it kind of bonds the structure together. So I think the rigidity is still there if you glue the skin on properly.

From the issue of rigidity.

I assume the comprehensive welded in cage you are building will have substantial roof protection, will roof flex be such an issue?

No, not in my case but if you do this to a street car with no cage (like Eatbreahdrive)...then it will be.

Thanks Juha for the feedback, I figured it'd be an issue of flex and cracking without a rollcage. 9M's version is the way to go I suppose, but if I can't find that outer skin, Design911 has the full version; no.1 graph.
