Emerald, FYI- It took me 3 drives to set my readiness codes in Dec. Don't give up after 2.

Thanks Craig. Hoping it happens soon.
Noticed you have the MO33/Koni FSD combo. How do you like it?

Well I went for another drive cycle today, and while doing the 5 minute idle,my code reader gave me an all flags set.:thumb up:

I headed to the nearest emissions test site, only to get followed twice by police cruisers. I nervously sat thru 2 lights with one behind me,only to have him turn off. My plates expired in 2012

Passed emissions with flying colors. It feels great to have the new engine in,and to have new tags. A big happy shout out to all my fellow Rennlisters who helped along the way.:big gulp:

It's time for a drink……

Great news. Emerald, it sure is satisfying to build the engine yourself and then take her for a drive..... Well done

Thanks Steven,

I think it is one of my better achievements. I need to address an oil leak at the return line (probably not tight enough) then it is off for new tires and a full alignment and corner balance. Looking forward to spring and some seat time.
