Default PET is not helping

Part # is 96465912000. I ran it by the PET and it says it's an "outer sensor" . Gee, thanks ;-)

Anybody ? c'mon guys, it's gonna kill me all week end ! Porsche parts depts are closed too !

Sorry, that was meant to be a follow up to my "what did I break" post. I have no idea how I screwed this up and made it a separate thread !!

That part is the temperature sensor that sits in the duct leading from the rear blower motor. If the air temperature in the tube gets above a certain level, then the fan runs faster. I have a heater blower bypass, so I have one of these parts going spare if you want.

Thanks ! I'll ask the dealer what it costs. If under $20 I might as well spring for a fresh one (rather than a 13 year old one), but if it's expensive, I will take you up on it !
