Default A few new Laguna shots and video

I found a few more shots on a memory card the other day and decided to upload them. There are 2 shots with Kim's Yellow Zonker visible.

Also, I uploaded a video lap of Laguna. To tie in a recent thread about digicams, it was taken not with a camcorder, but an Olympus C-5050 digital still camera in video mode. It's pretty choppy, but still impressive for a still camera. My passenger just held the camera on the dash and hit record. Please note that this is an excellent way to get black-flagged.

To access, click on the link in my .sig and go to the Laguna Seca Track Days section. Video size is ~ 7MB.

I hope that I can make it to the 9/3 PDC Event, Kim

Pete, was that Greg's GT2? He took me for a drive once. It was one FAAAST car. TT motor, rwd, with nitrous, I think.....

Pin - Has to be every other weekend...on the others I'm working on the car...
Hehehe.... yes I forgot about that. I think Mooty washes and waxes his car right after he gets home from the track, when will you get to that point, Kim?

I hope you can make the PDC event too...
Thanks Kim... I will wear my Hey Wait For Me Racing T-shirt if I do go

Well, I have recently "been given an opportunity to pusue new challenges," so it'll be a while before finances allow me to attend another track day. If anyone knows a company that needs a VP or Director of consulting or services, let me know.

Yes it was. That thing is incredible, just blew by anything and everything else at the track. Very nice guy too.

You guys look like your having a blast in the corkscrew.
I can't wait to drive at Laguna again. What club do you track with?
What is the next date?
Can anyone help me transport my wheels/tires from L.A. ??

For you L.A. guys, I have a question.

I've only been to Willow Springs and Laguna Seca since my move.
I was wondering what other tracks are with a 2-3 hr, drive from Hollywood.
I love Laguna Seca but it's a huge drive and I have problems transporting tires. So a close track besides willow springs (which I don't love) would be great..
Where is thunderhill and buttonwillow? And doesn't Los Angeles have a road course in it's speedway??
thanks for the info!

Hey Kim,

I'm not a huge fan of Willow Springs. I would like to try streets of willow though. I was told I'd like the streets because it's more technical.
I really need to get back to track though. I got me some tires matched special and staggered perfect. --

Kim,

everyone likes elevation changes but B is used to not having them, he's a round here you know, they don't know what elevation cganhe is around here...

And damn Kim you're a busy man but whats CW or CCW..?

BTW, I just did RS door panels on my car. Easy to do, took about 2-3 hours (just taking it slowly). I got them from that guy on ebay. PM if you want mor info, Bozo didn't have his camera but anyway... I should have photo of finished job today though (friend took yesterday at Moroso DE).

Seth:

There is also the Streets of Willow. POC has a slalom event on Aug 17th. On the 16th, there is the slalom class.
