Do you have a photo site with pics of your E30 M3. What a gem of a car!

Xenit cleaner by Stoner. (thanks again to rennlist search.) followed by p21s total wash. Wheel wells were the easy part. The underside was NOT a fun job. I bought a spare wand for the power washer and radius'd it 90degrees to get the underside. Some of the cosmoline came off with two applications. Some took a brush after letting 4-5 applications of the Xenit. Wash, repeat. Next weekend.... repeat.

No problem. Glad they shipped without damage. Now, I need to find some seats.

Heated garage. I set the slab thermostat to 70deg and went to town. Took a few weekends. Water drains to garage doors. Followed up by a commercial dehumidifier.

I found 2 signatures inside the hood. The one signature is from Ian Baas, not sure of the other. I have attempted to contact the previous owners from 5-6 years ago. While members, they were not accepting pm's. Would anyone here be able to shed some insight? Would love to know more history. I wonder what stories this car has to tell.

I think the M3 is worth more than 993 and more collectible, I personally wouldn't have sold one of those for a 993 but of course the choice was yours and yours only.

Congrats nice looking example! I appreciate the e30 M3 wow. I have a 2013 E92 M3 myself and also a 1974 2002tii (some would argue to be the original M3 : )

That e30m is soo sick!!! But I think you made the right choice. With the way that turned out, I'm sure the 993 will be even better!!!

FINALLY! Wheels finished, short shifter done, its off the jack stands. Second drive since ownership.

This has been a particularly brutal winter. I had to stop and take a shot of the car against the remaining snow drifts.

as a previous e30 M3 owner (and long time CCA member), it's a shame you had to sell one to buy the other. i've been in that position many times and i would love to have certain cars of mine back. i sold my 61k mile e30 M3 to buy a house, but i'm not sure i'd make that same decision again. same reason i sold my RSA - again, not sure i'd make that same decision. the 993 is a different animal in some ways, but not so much in others - slow-ish by today's standards, but still exhilarating to drive at full tilt. enjoy the new ride.

The picture with the snow drift could be the next front cover of the RENNLIST 2015 Calendar. Great composition to be sure.

You definitely made the right choice in selling your M3 for this car. Both are killer but you already owned E30's for a while. Time for something different. Not better, just different.

Cars looking sweet, great choice with the MY02 wheels but I'm a bit bias.
