Default 993 at fat camp

My car is getting a nip/tuck at the winter retreat. Sunroof delete has not started yet. Headlight washers are gone, so are the bumperettes. I also took out the horizontal bar in the lower grill. CF hood and ducktail from Getty. The hood doesn't have cutouts for the windshield washer, so the shop will take care of that.

Nice mods

Are you going to replace the head liner as well?

Nice

Are they doing it in leather or vinyl

Perforated would be interesting as well, like the older cars

Test fitting. Mark at Getty said they did some adjustment to the mould when they made this hood. The shop said it's a really good fit and had no problem at all.

Not yet started on the roof. Not sure when either. It's a low priority project for both the shop and me (the snow is melting a little, but there is about 1/2" of salt covering all of Michigan).

Wow -- that's a great fitting hood. I don't think I've ever seen a FG/CR hood fit that nicely.

awesome thread, I always enjoy your forum posts. Great progress with your car btw, I am a huge fan of white carreras an most of these mods you have undertaken are exactly what I want to do with my own car. I'm Subscribed, without a doubt this is going to be good.

what are your plans for the roll bar? Do you still have one?

Did I mention I love sunroof removal, very interesting subject - I'll second the "take good pics request"

Do show us your headliner also, was it a fill in of the sunroof portion or a whole new headliner?
