I am in the market for a 993. 2 questions:

What is a fair price for the attached 993 and

Can someone recommend a reputable mechanic to check this one out for me?

Neat car. Prices are all over lately and of course will depend a lot on condition. At 50k miles, you'd want to know what's left on the clutch, engine compression, brakes for starters.

Search "PPI Dallas" and you'll probably find plenty of views on who's good in the area.

+993 on what was posted by Dr. No ^^^
Actual value can be better determined after an extensive PPI has been performed. For the kind of scratch they are asking, I would have a leak-down performed as well...Nice car from what I can see...

The asking price seems very fair to me although the interior color combo might be a limiting factor to some folks.

I've heard good things about Mayo (Euless) and Zim's (Bedford) ... but they are on the Fort Worth side ... The RAC shop (Carrolton) would be a good choice also. I would contact the Maverick Region of the PCA ... they could give you several choices, and may know someting about the car if it was local. Good luck ...

I also had a PPI done at Mayo about a year ago. Very easy to deal with and I was happy with the service.

Mayo, Zims, Autoscope, RAC all come to mind.

Car looks nice! Rear badge is incorrect so possibly a sign of paintwork or accident history!

Yes, or just the darned thing getting replaced after getting caught in your wash mitt and breaking.

But at that price, a once-over with the paint meter is a very good idea.

lots going on in that interior, love to see a pic of the build sticker...is that all options?

Either looks spectacular in person...or too much.

Heated HB Sport seats are nice
