Throttle Adjustment
Okay Guys.. I tried searching for this topic multiple times with no posts found.
How do I verify / determine..... that when the gas pedal is fully depressed, (all the way until the plastic stop on the back hits the floor board) that the throttle is at 100% and not just 90% of full throttle?

You need one of two things. A friend, or a brick. One of you (you, friend, or brick will all work for this part) will keep the gas pedal to the floor (preferrably with the engine OFF). Then the other (brick will not work well here)will look at the thottle body and see that it is hitting the full throttle stop and that no further movement can be had. It at full throttle on the pedal it is not hitting the stop, then you should lenghten the rod under the pas pedal until you achieve full throttle.

Thanks Bob,
I believe that even I can perform this inspection and adjustment.
Now...which brick can I invite over to help?

Never underestimate the lack of attention given by mechanics working on your car. Could be your mechanic, could be from the previous owner. My rule of thumb is check everything... It can never hurt, and then you have no doubts.
Oh, and any cable can stretch a little.

Viper Bob,
The throttle body in the 97' 993 is hard to see. It's behind the varioram hardware. I had to have my wife push the pedal to the floor and I could just barely wiggle my hand to feel the lever moving. After adjustment at the pedal, it feels like it is hitting the stop.
I will find out at the next PCA DE. If I gain any speed from Turn 7 to Porsche bridge at Road Atlanta, then I will attribute it this adjustment.
If not, then I will need to find another excuse for not performing at 100% potential.
