Thanks. It's funny how it's only after a few weeks that I'm starting to notice little things. But, when I see it parked or even better, when my right foot goes down while cruising at 3500 rpm... the little stuff tends to go away!

Is it really a squeak? In my car, it sounds more like rain on a tent roof. Do I have the same thing?

How much is the silicon rope fix? Does the dealer cover that under warranty?

Did the Mobil1 work? Did it do any damage?

I would also describe it as sounding like rain on the windscreen. I used Pedros and it works well. However, I have put on three applications and it now needs another. Only lasts for about 3 weeks.

My can of Pedros is also giving me problems. Appears to be half full, but there is no pressure when I try to apply it. Washed out the nozzle etc., but no improvement.

I put one application of Pedro's on my windshield about a month ago that cured about 90% of the noise. When I have some time, I'll put a second dose on, which should cure the rest of the noise. Prior to using Pedro's, the sound was very obnoxious.

Ken- I would imagine that your can ran out of aerosol and that's why there's wax left in the can, but it can't come out. My can will do the same soon, since you have to invert the can to spray the wax it will run through the aerosol before you use up the contents. The only solution would be to pick up another can....

I put a heavy applicaton of Pedro's on but didn't seem to have an effect.

Do I need two doses? Or put the rope in? Should the seal be removed to put the rope in as one post suggests?
