During the mandatory Christmas movie viewings with the family, my evening was significantly improved when I spotted a 993 in 'The Preacher's Wife'. Anyone who might have seen this film will know it is an out and out chick-flick (with no offense to chicks) and a Christmas feel-good, but my wife near jumped out of her seat when I screamed 'it's a 993!!!!' at 1h33 in. A silver coupe parked in front of the bad guy's mansion. Seen again later. She was impressed I could date the film to 1996 (bit of a guess) based on that alone.

Any more movie sightings out there?

I watched a French movie during an overseas flight years ago which featured a yellow 993 RS in it. In the film an ax was taken to the front hood at one point. I wish I knew what movie it was.

My car makes a brief appearance (as do I) in Pain and Gain.

Youtube "Pain and gain sexy scene" (clip below) and you'll see rear half of my car being parked in front of a strip club, just before they cut into strippers **** (makes kinda hard to focus)...
If they had cut the scene couple of seconds longer, you'd see the whole car but as they say, that's movie business, as long as you get paid.:

In the opening sequence of the Bond movie Die Another Day there is a nice 993 on display with some other tasty toys from the 90's.

It is also front and center when it takes fire from large caliber machine guns and then a missile.
