To quote David Hobbs, "Don't get your knickers in a twist..." Anyone who has been on RennList more than a week should know that extreme examples of 993s, either extremely modified or extremely stock, precipitate an extreme range of comments. That's why it's called a discussion board.

I think it looks fantastic. Even better if it actually needs all that grip.

Sir Mix-A-Lot?

Pushing the boundaries of wide, especially up front. I would have one in a car collection, but maybe in a dark color.

These are interesting cars but as mentioned in another thread, I'd rather have a Singer 911 than RWB. Function before "fashion".

Sorry, no respect. He gets treated like a god, and it's not like he invented bolting big fenders on a Porsche-he just took them way too far. But, not surprising from the land of ridiculous appendages put on cars.

You may question the owner's taste but you sure can't question his driving skill.

TopSpeed Motorsports: "Our good friend Leh Keen stopped in with he & his fathers latest project... BEAUTIFUL RWB Porsche!!!! Pretty much the whole shop just stopped working and started drooling!!"

Personally I think it looks absolutely bad a**.

I'd assume that Leh has no doubt addressed the issue of what's underneath, to scratch all of his itches with regard to performance.

But, my opinion-right or wrong- is that his car is the exception to the rule.

I'm surprised he did not go GT3RS green ;-)
Great cars n coffee, even daily driver if you update it correctly. Cartoonish but that's what's cool about it.

I've seen a few of these in the flesh and they look grotesque to these eyes. But somehow the RWB kit looks better on a 964 for some reason...

Looks and aesthetically pleasing take a backseat to function on a race car, so, while the looks may not please everyone, or anyone, including the owner, if they are reducing track times, I suspect that is their priority.

Sure it is a silly car to be driving on the street, but I don't think that is the main purpose for this vehicle.

I believe the car has a sunroof so I couldnt really think who would want something at that expense and skip the roof mod.

Leh Keen has a nice green .1 GT3RS so it will be interesting to see what he thinks of this RWB for the short or long term.

he being treated godlike is not b/c he bolts big fenders on p cars. i dont like the car's look, i like him. have a stella artois with him, you be very surprised what he knows about p cars. what he doesn't show doesn't mean he doesn't know.

just like i dont particularly like hondas, from the land of ridiculous appendages, but you tear down an ap1 motor and have a discussion with mezger, i bet he love that engine as much as, if not more, than his own creation. just saying...
