GT2 wing in the rain

I gotta admit... First time I checked this thread I was hoping to see some pics of a gt2 wing throwing some crazy water vortices off of it at a jillion miles an hour.

I looked over my caps and plug wires very carefully, even ran the engine in the dark, no light show at all.
I've hosed the engine and it ran with no problems but it doesn't like sitting out in the rain.
It has sat in heavy rain for short times with no problems but twice now, if it sits in steady rain for prolonged periods she plays up. She's a real garage queen.
The genuine euro RS tail has a ramp on the inside that would pour rain water directly onto the distributors, the non genuine tails dont have this. I don't know if this is the same with other types of tails.
The moisture could be getting into the distributors through the other openings that may not be sealed as well as they should be.
I found a very large oven bag, 500 X 500mm so I cut it open to give me a sheet of oven proof plastic that measures 1 mtr X 500mm, it is my emergency cover should I ever have to park it in heavy prolonged rain. Prevention is better than cure...
