Any suggestions on a good in dash multicd unit? I dont want a stacker. The previous owner on my 95 993 installed a Nakamichi MB75 unit and it is garbage. Constant problems and it is only 1.5 years old...
I had the Nak MB-75 and went through 3 units in 6 months. I had one unit jam with CDs and another that was defective and always kept the amplifier powered on.
I upgraded to the MB-100 a few months ago, and I think it was worth the extra money. It got rid of noise issues I was having with the MB-75 and overall seems to be a more solid unit.
Maybe it's a general problem with Nakamichi? I have a multi CD Nak at home that stinks as well. Sounds great, but mechanicals are horrible. It also jams with CD's. Changing it out this month.
