I just ordered a new copy of Peter's book The Used 911 Story on Amazon. New copies go for $24.95 and used copies for $67.30. Can anyone explain this? Anyways, looking forward to reading it. I've got two Randy Leffingwell books, The Complete Book of Porsche 911 and The Porsche 911 Buyers Guide, and highly recommend both.

Being in the book trade, the vendor of the used book sets the price that he sells through amazon. It could be one dolllar or one thousand. Up to the vendor.

Makes sense though it seems odd that a seller would set the price for a used copy almost three times higher than a new copy. I can't imagine he is going to sell many copies.
