More prep work done. The guys had a splendid idea about the CF roof installation; they used a little heat and hammered the sheet metal down a bit to create a cavity near the C-pillars for the CF roof edge. i.e. now the CF roof wiil be level with the sheet metal and only the small gap needs to be filled.

The heated windscreens from Ricky Evans are very well made but do not have the plastic channel. The best way to install is using a 964 windscreen seal same as the 993 RS did.

The only issue I had was that the wires for heating cover the VIN tag.

I have a spare brand new one if anybody is interested

They are made in China ... he does not make any of the windscreens he sells and opporates out of a very small unit in Birmingham 🇬🇧

This is great info, thanks!

Visited the shop today, they were about to glue on the roof and then paint the exterior.

I have questions
what is the bracket on the center tunnel just in front of the e-brake mount?
what is the cut out in the center of the rear tub just below the latch?

It is for the blade stabilizer control levers.

It is not a cut out, even though it looks like it. Just an area that was hidden under the "rotisserie" attaching plates when the guy sprayed the chassis. It will be painted when the exterior gets it final coat.

Picked up my CUP from the shop on Friday afternoon for a track day and saw the GT2...man, they've done soooo good work with the roof. You cannot tell that it's glued on.

The body parts are still waiting for prep & paint:

Still with 5-lug hubs. Centerlocks will go in once we get the final specs for the wheels:

Juha, this will be such an amazing car. It is a GT2 Evo²
Do you plan to drive it in Germany? Is the engine already done? What specs?
