There is also Uship.com, reverse ebay approach to bidding. Have use once and had good results. Covered transport may limit your options on bidders.

My brother and I drove a Supra TT from L.A. To Nashville...time of my life.
Once drove an '84 Sunbird from Dallas to Chicago...one of the most miserable experiences of my life. That my first wife was in the car probably contributed to that. That it was August and there was no working A/C probably contributed more... ;-)

The Supra trip was in 1999 as well. The car was a college graduation gift from my father to my brother (we got it for a hair over $20k through a friend that worked at Toyota...worth $35k today) and the only stipulation was that we would have to pay the costs of the trip if we got a ticket. Only time in my life I've ever used cruise control!

Ironically both my brother and I had MR2s at some point. He had a N/A and I had a turbo...both 91s!

Another positive Intercity Lines experience here. We did northern FL to northern VA a few months ago for about $1200. The service was fantastic. Had to flex a little on dates, but they were very helpful in making things work for both sides.

I've had 3 of them, two '85s and an '89 Supercharged. To this day I can tell Toyota interior by the sense of smell, it's uncanny Fun cars. I often think that my love of underpowered light machinery started with that bunch of rusting metal.
